With my fellow icon painters, I am participating in an interesting exhibition "My and Yours, Yours and Ours Sacred Reality" at the Roberts Muks` Museum in Galeni.
The exhibition gives an insight into the Catholic, Orthodox and Old Believer worlds. It allows us to see the objects and costumes belonging to the denominations, reveals the timeless world through the icon or the holy image, and tells the story of the denominations around us.
The exhibition is inspired by Roberts Muks' religious research, highlighting the fact that the inhabitants of Galeni and the surrounding area belong to different denominations, that this history is colourful, like Latgale in autumn.
